Welcome, I'm Claude Henry. I believe hard work and helping others are essential for a fulfilling life. I am working to complete my bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, further motivating me to set and achieve my goals. This pursuit not only drives my personal growth but also inspires those around me.
I'm passionate about giving back to the community through volunteering or mentoring. I truly believe that uplifting one another strengthens our connections and creates a positive impact.
I'm excited to continue this journey of hard work and service!
I am incredibly fortunate to have been married to my best friend and wife for eight wonderful years. Together, we're raising two amazing kids: a spirited 13-year-old daughter and an adventurous 8-year-old son. Our family dynamic has expanded with the recent adoption of our cocker spaniel, Rolo!
Living close to several family members means we have plenty of opportunities for fun gatherings. We especially look forward to our lively game nights, where we compete fiercely while enjoying eating popcorn. Between our daughter's Pom activities and our son's youth flag football games, our days are filled with excitement and cherished memories as we navigate this wonderful adventure of family life!
In my free time, you'll often find me at the gym, where I thrive on the thrill of setting new goals and pushing my body beyond its limits. Fitness isn't just a routine for me; it's a journey filled with excitement and personal growth. Another passion of mine is volunteering as a football coach at my alma mater. High school sports were instrumental in shaping who I am today, and I enjoy the camaraderie and successes that come from coaching young athletes. Watching them grow and succeed is genuinely one of the most rewarding experiences!
Since 2006, I've proudly served the City of Ardmore Police Department, immersing myself in nearly every facet of the organization. My primary focus has been patrol services, where I've been a supervisor since 2010. Today, as the Administrative Captain, I work closely with the Chief of Police, ensuring our department runs smoothly and effectively.
I take on various responsibilities in my role, including acting as the Public Information Officer, overseeing accreditation efforts, managing policy development, and guiding our dedicated non-sworn professional staff. While my duties have changed over time, one thing remains constant: my passion for positively impacting the community and supporting the citizens we serve. Knowing that my work helps foster a safer, more connected Ardmore is incredibly rewarding.
